Its been a long time since I've played this so Ive revisited it. I was wondering why the ominous, uncertain difficulty felt so familiar... and then I realised.. Have you ever heard of the game "Fear and Hunger"? Conceptually, I think you'd like it. :)

Anyway! The puzzles here were very unintuitive, but its years old and your newer work has vastly improved, so congrats on your growth! The horror elements are one of a kind, you are truly one of the people who can do it like this haha.

Thank you :)
Fear and Hunger is on my list of games i want to play but never have "time" to, i finished Darkwood last week so It's probably next
I really tried to internalized the feedback i got here years ago, I hate how long it took me to actually publish something

you can tell a game like this is good when you cant stop thinking of it when its over. throughout the 3 endings i got, no matter what happened or how ominous things got, i never felt like the mysterious machine speaking to me was my enemy. and when i finally finished ending 3 i felt satisfied. great work! good use of spooky effects without jumpscares (altho the fist in the well honestly scared the crap out of me haha). love the art style, gruesome without being egregious.

immediate tetris effect hehe. fun, simple, cute. worm.

So dreamy... I love the green to pink gradient mane, tail, and wings the most! Though im so glad you included Applejack :D

made with loads of love and polish. I know this is a demo, but a clear save/autosave feature would be awesome. I really love the nostalgic lucasarts type gameplay, and this definitely knows exactly what type of game it wants to be.

to any potential players reading this: the mouse is MANDATORY to play, but if you're like me and only have a drawing tablet and finicky windows ink settings, you can make it work! trackpads are out of the question though!

I ask only that I can listen to the surgeon's song multiple times.

It's a very nice game, and i love how much you were able to convey with teenie tiny pixel graphics. I loved slowly discovering more and more parts of the conservatory and making the repairs. There is a bug where, sometimes, seed plots will be completely unresponsive, and I wasn't able to plant anything or even interact with the planter itself. Also.... I regret to inform you that the pause function does not actually work haha. I hit P to bring up the pause menu while i made dinner and when i came back 6 days had passed. Oops! I also think the moth population gets way too unsustainable for me sometimes! I can't feed everyone, and then I feel bad seeing so many withered away... It'd be nice if I could release some?
I just lit up the big lantern, if there's more to uncover, besides making all the outfits, I'd love to know, so I can get the full experience. Otherwise, its very lovely!
